Branding Update!

Every few years it’s nice to revisit your logo and overall branding and make sure it reflects the work you’re currently making.

In 2025, I made the decision to separate parts of my practice into Sophie the artist, and Sophie the children’s illustrator. I branded the youthful illustration side of my work as Clover Place. The name references a clover filled back garden, a safe place for children to experience nature. A four leafed clover is also a symbol of luck, and lot’s of my work also uses themes such as magic and superstition.

With Clover Place now out there in the ether, I set about updating my original artist logo so that the two would feel cohesive. The original artist logo was a flower, but taking away the clovers line and adding a dot, it would instead mimic a flower.

I’m really happy with these new logos - what do you think?
